Back to Austin We Go!

Ahhh where has the time gone? These past five weeks have definitely flown by but we would be lying if we said we weren’t more than ready to head back to atx!!

These past five weeks have been full of family, work, relaxation, and new surprises….

We’ve enjoyed our time off but we can’t lie, this last week we have been checking for syllabi, our book list, and have our supplies ready to go on amazon. We both have lighter semesters and our goal is to get a 4.0. This will be difficult as always, but we have done it before! We have some big things planned for the semester with birthdays, date events for DG, and of course lots of blogging. We can’t wait to be back in the same apartment (making content creation and picture taking a little bit easier)!!

Since school is starting soon we thought we would talk a little bit on how we stay organized during the semester! Our biggest trick is to get ahead during syllabus week. Put all due dates into your calendar and let the homework begin. Although this week seems like nothing is due, before you know it midterms will begin and the semester will be in full force (this is adamant to our success later in the semester). We recommend using an online calendar that will sync to your phone so it is accessible at all times! Kenn opts for google calendar and Rach uses Apple Calendar. Both of these are great options that allow for color coding to keep social events, baseball games, and school separate!
